The best advice I can give anyone TODAY is to be who you are and don't make apologies for it.  Don't allow worldly experiences to change you in a manner that is not in line with who you know you are inside.  Do your best to the best of your ability daily to not allow outside influences to determine what kind of person you will be today.

When the outside is tugging on you and you're holding on by the skin of your teeth, KEEP HOLDING ON!  Don't let go.  Use what little you have left to replenish and recycle your energy...your stamina...so you can do more than just make it through the rest of your day

One way to do this is to encourage yourself.  Don't wait for the world to tell you how great you are, how kind you are, how loving you are-- no-- YOU tell yourSELF.  Learn to love your own reflection, and I'm not talking about surface love.  I mean, do things, even minor nicities every single day until YOU feel good about you.  And keep this up because once in motion, a habit will stay in motion.  It's called momentum.  Build positive momentum and the next time the world tries to eat you alive, you'll be hanging on by more than just the skin of your teeth-- you'll have a whole container full of momentus positive energy to draw from and you will not just have made it through the day-- you will have LIVED the day to the fullest.
