Joann

I am the type of girl guys come to for advice. I'm fun, approachable, and have a way with words. I'm 33, and married with a beautiful 3 year old daughter. But don't expect me to drive around with a soccer sticker on the back of my car. My decisions don't revolve around my hair and nails. I still like to hang out with the guys, and my interests lean more toward computers, science, psychology and Marvel comics. I keep fit with the help of my Dance Dance Revolution Playstation games. I'm here to tell you that 'marriage' is not a dirty word, and life does not end after marriage. I can tell you of the joys of a relationship -- how to get there, and what to do with it. I can also decipher that 'crazy' behaviour of the opposite sex, and help you to coexist in harmony. All of life is an adventure, and I can help you make it a great one.

I am 24-years-old, but don't let my young age fool you, I've have had tons of experience with men, good and bad. My first relationship was with an older man and lasted for seven years, while we had wonderful times together, looking back now, I realize a lot of what went wrong and what we could have done to fix it. Currently, I am in my second long term relationship and am living with my boyfriend. I also went through a period where I was a major player, and juggled multiple dates in one day and many men in my life, after all, I was single. Feel free to send me any question you have on your mind, anything from how to be better in bed and how to get rid of clingy girls, to how to get her family to fall in love with you or what to do if your religions and cultures are clashing. It is my job to help you, not judge you, so please feel free to be open with me because I will be completely honest with you in my advice and own life experiences.

Cristina

After a decade in San Francisco, Cristina now resides in New York where she is working to complete her first novel. In addition to her academic background, Cristina brings a good deal of street savvy and integrity to her responses. Growing up, her mother was a sexual education and outreach social worker. Early exposure to the extreme variation in adult sexuality and lifestyle, Cristina is unusually open and candid in talking about sex. Her time living and bartending in San Francisco have also blessed her with a wide range of people and subcultures, allowing her to understand just how personally nuanced desires and relationships really are. Nothing worth doing should be unable to be talked about somewhere. Sometimes, it just requires a little judgment-free, outside perspective so that we can figure out what we really want and iron out some of the contradictions between people.

All your life you have felt that people have given you advice even when you didn’t ask for it. It came as frequently as unwanted free ads and flyers in your mailbox. How to choose your career, which should be the first car you buy, what presents to buy for Christmas, where to take your girlfriend on your first date, so on and so forth. You took few and ignored most. But you didn’t really profit much by them. Why? Because you were too lazy or too captivated by the outside world to listen to the faint, but, invariable hum of the little ‘voice of reason’ that lives inside you. Look for advice from me not because I might know a thing or two more than you do, or have experienced life more deeply or spiritually than you, but, because I can help you listen to your own ‘voice of reason’.

Aloha, everyone! I am a 22-year-old single gal who recently obtained a psychology biology and chemistry degree from a freezing Midwestern city, packed her bags, and moved to Hawai’i two weeks later. I love meeting new people, visiting new places, and having new experiences. I’m a major nerd with a strong research background—during college, I worked in six labs at three different universities and studied everything from brain tumors to cartilage repair to language development in infants. But I also love dancing, swimming, and meeting new people. I was a competitive cheerleader throughout middle school and high school—and I used to sneak books to games and competitions and read when I thought no one was watching. Above all, I love spending time with people and getting to know them better. I could talk to someone for hours on end and still want to know more about them. My other interests include technology, working with children, communication disorders, healthcare.

Hey there! I am a 31 year old single, Irish, native new yorker that has had her share of relationships and is somehow still alive and hopeful in the greatest city in the world! The quote "whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger", pretty much describes my dating experience! I have had the gamut of relationships- from casual to long term relationships, to moving in together (those experiences require an entire webpage of their own-lol!), to being single again, and falling in love and getting engaged and moving across the country with a wonderful man I met online, just to have it not work out. I have had great relationships with some great men, just turns out they weren't right for me. I pride myself on being an open, honest person, and I will give you a direct response for any questions you might have. I will do my best to tell you how and what women are thinking, and what you need to do to get the response you want. Trust me, I have been there, and done that. You can learn from my mistakes, and maybe avoid making some of your own along the way. As a person, I am very down to earth, and I am here to help, so pull up a chair and let's get started!!

Kiaras a 25 year old certified Disability Advocate.
I am here to help and take great pleasure in uniting those in love. Currently single, I was once in a long term realtionship, once in a long distance relationship. I have loved too much and not enough. I have been cheated and I have done some cheating. I have given and taken advice on love, relationships, marriage, friendships, education, careers, fashion or the more simple advice such as to dine in or take-out, White Merlot or Savignon Blanc, shoes or sneakers, football or baseball and so much more . I have found that love and relationships flourish beautifully when based on trust and communication. Of course, there are other factors which help relationships to prosper. I can help you to determine what is best for practically any situation. I look forward to hearing from YOU!

Women are difficult. Girls are worse. Both are either confused or confusing. The young ones need drama—to star in their own serial soap opera/sitcom/MTV reality show—and often create it where it need not exist. The older gals seek stability and can exert more force per square inch than an Amazonian Boa Constrictor when they’re ready to wed (and think you should be, too). Wives, Mistresses and the Mothers of your children want appreciation. Take out the garbage, bring home flowers, rock the cholic-y twins to sleep at 4am. These can do wonders for a relationship.
I don’t portend to understand the wonderful chaos contained in every woman’s heart. Each is unique. The soul of every woman is driven by a fundamental desire for love and acceptance. In deciphering the greatest cipher of them all I might make you laugh, could make you cry (warning: product may be harmful to users who cannot accept the often painful truth), but will surely illuminate the inner-workings of the elusive female mind. I am, after all, the embodiment of the subject at hand….majestic, magnanimous, mysterious. WOMAN.

I am thirty-two years old and sometimes refer to myself as perpetually single. I date, but I haven’t really been in a relationship. However, I am a chronic observer and listener. I have been blessed with many long-lasting friendships with women. So, where I may lack personal experience I have a wealth of sofa/telephone knowledge. I am the go-to person for my girlfriends and their boyfriends for that matter when the going gets rough. The one praise of appreciation I receive more than any other is for my objectivity. It says a lot when your girlfriends’ boyfriend or husband asks your opinion on a situation. Normally, friends side with their friends regardless of right or wrong. I have a tendency to help parties see each other’s side. I realized long ago that when it comes to feelings, right and wrong doesn’t necessarily signify. You have something on your mind; in your heart you’re trying to work through? I’m here, ears wide open.

I spent the first 6 years of my life living in the U.S. but not understanding English. That kind of experience forces you to work on your people skills. For years friends and even strangers have come to me for advice. And I’ve always gotten along great with men. Conversations usually turn toward relationships, at which point I’m asked for my perspective. I think it’s because I’m honest and straightforward, and men appreciate that. Other interesting titbits about me? I’m a New York City cliché: a 30-something, shoe-obsessed Manhattanite. My true passion is to travel and I recently went on a solo trek across the globe. When I’m not out calling howler monkeys in the rainforest, I’m working as a consultant in global marketing and business development, practicing yoga and dancing tango.”

After 40 years of searching for the meaning of love, life and lessons, I have arrived at a place of understanding. I am unmarried by choice, have a gorgeous baby daughter and live with her wonderful father. Honestly, I never in my wildest dreams thought I could find such happiness in this chaotic and often cruel world. While my friends all got married early, I chose to travel and see what the world had to offer. There was a time where I dated constantly. It was very rare if there was not a man in my life. Trust me when I tell you, I’ve seen it all! It has not been an easy road, but through many, many hardships, I have an abundance of insight to offer. Let me share it with you. There is an answer for everything; we just have to know where to look for it.

Leslie

Leslie enjoys pondering the hearts and motives of theperpetually  love-sick, lost and utterly confused. She is and/or has been in long-distance, long-term, short-term, short-man, morbidly poisonous and culturally-challenging relationships.

She finds it odd to refer to herself in the third-person, but does not find it odd to rock out to old-timey Appalachian jams, Third World folksongs, and every other album by The Cure. Nor does she find it odd to eat uncooked Top Ramen, or to remain friends
with almost all of her exes.

She works with authors and would like to write a novel of her own one day, but so far she has only ghost-written a self-help book containing a lot of exclaimation points and words in ALL CAPS! She promises, however, that she will respond to all your
queries with an open mind, thoughtfully and...um...quietly.

Diana

I’ve been through some hard times at the hands of relationships, and I’m proud to say that I am not at all bitter. I was raised by my mother and grandmother, who were both very strong, empowering women. They taught me to roll with the punches—to pick up, dust off and move on. They taught to look inward for what went wrong and to not hesitate to do a self-evaluation. They also taught to not hesitate to hold someone else accountable for their actions because with responsibility comes accountability. They taught me to not live in the past but to remember the past because I can draw wisdom from past experiences. I’ve experienced extreme hurt, and with my marriage, extreme joy, so I have a unique perspective on the overall nature of communications between men and women. Aside from that, I have three brothers and they taught me a whole lot about men. Some I learned from our conversations and some I learned by watching their interactions with women…and I’m STILL learning. My dad, though he was not my biological father, was also an ever present force in my life. I had a good example of what to look for in a man. I am a firm believer that men teach their little girls what to look for in a man and women teach their little girls what to tolerate when the going gets tough and how to be supportive when the going gets tough due to no fault of his own. Likewise, men teach their little boys what to look for in a woman as well as how to treat a woman and mothers teach them what to expect from a woman who means to be the best woman she can be for herself and for him. That's a bit of a paradox, I know, but how many little boys do you know grew up looking for a woman who's like their father? Finally, I’m an encouraging person and my ultimate goal is to tell the truth. I'm a nurturer, but one who is very succinct and straight forward because I only want what's best for you. I will never encourage you to waste your time or energy on a situation where you have nothing to gain but stand to lose everything. Be you man or woman, I'm a person who empowers through truth and objectivity, so if you want THAT, you want ME. I will assess your situation and offer you wise counsel to help resolve your dilemma. Race, ethnicity, religious preference, sexual preference, lifestyle...all of those things matter not to me. ***I AM NOT HERE TO JUDGE...I am HERE TO HELP. All that matters to me is fulfilling a need.

I have a genuine interest in people of all ages and backgrounds and have been told that I am extremely perceptive and intuitive when it comes to affairs of the heart. I have yet to find my Mr. Right ..but have not given up hope. I definitely think it's important to have shared values and backgrounds and happy to give assistance if you have any doubts about compatability on this and many other issues regarding dating.

Growing up with 7 brothers certainly gave me a valubale insight in to the study of the male species and without a doubt we do think and behave very differently. But ulitmately we want the same things - to be loved, have fun and have trust and respect in relationships. Knowing what you want is half the battle but combining this with the reality of 21st century can be a minefield. So write to me for my insight on your individual issues.
